Kilchurn Castle

Kilchurn Castle was built in about 1450 by Sir Colin Campbell. It sits on the Northeastern end of Loch Awe in Argyll and Bute Scotland. Over time it was expanded. A violent storm in 1760 damaged the castle and it was abandoned.
